Wireless Network Connectivity Issue Archived

Network Services has identified an Internet connectivity issue with one of our internet service providers. Network Service will continue to monitor the situation and work with our ISP to identify the issue. If you have any questions, please contact the IT Support Center at 828-2227 or itsc@vcu.edu.

Network Services believe they have identified the cause of the connectivity issue and made changes to remediate in the short term. They are now looking at a long term solution to this issue.

The Network Services staff continues to work with vendors to determine the root cause for this issue. No new information to report at this time.

Network Services continues to monitor and work with vendors to determine what the specific issue is with the service disruption. We will update again this afternoon.

Network Services reports that connectivity performance has improved overnight. Staff will continue to monitor Internet connectivity throughout the day to confirm that the issue has been resolved by the vendor.
