Telecommunications Network Upgrade, February 9, 2021 - Planned Outage
VCU Network Firewall Migration Project - February 9, 10:00 PM
The VCU Network team will finalize migration to a new firewall during a 30 min to a 2-hour maintenance window. The migration service will affect the entire VCU and VCUH communities. To minimize the resulting telephone outage we will activate the failover servers that provide backup service. Users should anticipate two (2) five-minute outages at the beginning and the end of the maintenance window. Please make sure your teams have alternate means of communication.
